Advent Calendars A-Z Shopping Guide

When I was a child, my favorite part about Christmas was the anticipation.  My parents always had advent calendars for my brother and I to open each day.  It was always the first thing I did when I woke up.  Browsing Amazon, I was amazed at all the choices there are for celebrating the advent season.  I put together an A-Z list to give you an idea of the wonderful advent calendars available now.  These make great gifts that give all month long.  This is the time to order to get them in time for December 1st.

A - Army Men Advent Calendar  Got any kids who like military army men?  

B -  Bear Advent Calendar - Can't say enough about how good Lindt chocolate is.  Wrap them up in Teddy Bears and they are even better.

C - Charm Bracelet Advent Calendar - For those who love jewelry - an advent charm bracelet.

 

D. Dinosaur Advent Calendar - All of my boys have gone through a dinosaur stage.  If your boy or girl is in that stage, they will love this one.


E.  English Organic Tea Advent Calendar - Great for children and parents.  Tea time with a good book or Hallmark movie to celebrate the season.

F.  Farm World Advent Calendar - Farming families will enjoy this one.

G -  Gingerbread House Advent Calendar - This one gets bonus points because it is adorable, reusable and you can fill it with what you want.

H - Hot Wheels Advent Calendar - Hot Wheels are always a hit around here.

I -  "Icky" Slime Advent Calendar - I don't know any parents who would jump to buy this, but I bet the kids would love it.

J - Jesse Tree Advent Ornaments - We have done a Jesse tree numerous times over the year.  It is a great way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.  These ornaments go well with the Jesus Storybook Bible.


K - Kit Kat Advent Calendar - Kit Kat's used to be one of my favorites when I was a kid, so I had to put this up here.

L - Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar - Pretty sure any boy or Dad would enjoy this one.  After all, it combines Lego's and Star Wars.  Doesn't get much better than that.

M - Monster Truck Advent Calendar - Any Monster Truck lovers out there?

N - Norman Rockwell Pop-Up Advent Calendar - Artistic teens and adults may find enjoyment from this.  Norman Rockwell has always been one of my favorite artists.

O - Owl DIY Advent Calendar - For the creative parents out there wanting to do something fun for their creative daughters - this is it.  A little more time consuming than the others, but so fun.

P - Playmobil Pirate's Cove Advent Calendar - Ahoy Mate!  Playmobil has some wonderful advent calendars - but this pirate one has buried treasure.

Q - Quilt Pattern Box Advent Calendar - Anyone in your life enjoy quilting.  Fill up this one with little snacks for them to enjoy while they work on their holiday quilt gifts.

R - Railway Advent Calendar - Thomas the Tank engine will give your children a Christmas express delight.

S - Super Mario Advent Calendar for all the Nintendo lovers out there.

T - Tree Wall Hanging Advent Calendar - Little ones can enjoy this felt tree advent.


U - Unicorn Advent Calendar - When I was a girl, I collected everything unicorn!  My bedroom was filled with them.  I heard they have had a comeback.


V - Veggie Tales Advent Calendar - It's time for Veggie Tales!

W - Wee Believers Wall Cling Advent Calendar  - A fun way to decorate your windows for Christmas.

X - Xmas Keychain Advent Calendar - I have never liked the word Xmas - but try finding an advent calendar that starts with X.  Good luck!


Y - Yankee Candle Advent Calendar - This one is for the moms or older daughters.  I think the grandmas would enjoy this one too.
Z - Zoo Animals Advent Calendar - For all the animal lovers out there.
